STEP 1
Start the Application and Due Diligence Process

- Submit a scanned passport copy and passport-sized photo.
- Complete a signed PDPA form and application through an accredited GSSA, such as Attori Law.
- The entire application process typically takes 1 month, though it may extend to 3 months for special countries.
STEP 2
Approval and Payment of Membership Fee
PAY
Once approved, you will have 30 days to complete the payment for your membership fee, which can be done via bank transfer or credit card.
STEP 3
Issuance and Collection
ISSUANCE
After payment, you will receive a Membership ID and instructions to collect your visa, either at your local Thai embassy or upon arrival at Thai airports like Suvarnabhumi, Chiang Mai, or Phuket, with Elite Personal Assistant assistance.

FAQs
Can I work in Thailand on an Elite Visa?
No. The Elite Visa lets you live in Thailand, not work here. It does not carry a work permit and it does not give you the right to take a job. If you want to work you need a Non-B work visa and a work permit, with a Thai employer behind the application.
Will I have to pay tax in Thailand?
Possibly, and the visa itself makes no difference either way. Spending 180 days or more in Thailand in a tax year makes you a tax resident, and foreign income you bring into the country can be taxed. This is the point most people miss when they buy a long stay visa. It is far easier to plan for before you move than to unpick afterwards. See our page on personal income tax.
Which tier should I choose?
It comes down to how long you actually plan to stay and whether you are adding family, not to which card looks best. Sales agents earn more when you buy a higher tier. We do not sell memberships, so if a lower tier covers what you need, we will say so.
Can my spouse and children join me?
Yes. Family members can be added to your membership, and what it costs depends on which tier you hold. The tier comparison above sets out the figures. Each person added has their own paperwork, which we prepare and file with the Privilege Card company.
Do I still have to do 90 day reporting?
Yes. Every foreigner staying in Thailand continuously has to report their address to Immigration every 90 days, and Elite members are no exception. Leaving the country and coming back resets the count. It is a reporting obligation only and does not affect your membership.
How is this different from the DTV?
The DTV is built around remote work and carries conditions tied to how you earn. The Elite Visa has no work or income conditions at all. You pay the membership fee and your stay is settled for the length of the tier. If the DTV conditions genuinely fit how you work, it is worth comparing the two. If you would rather have no conditions attached to your stay, Elite is the simpler answer.
Can I open a Thai bank account with it?
A long stay visa helps, but it does not guarantee it. Banks set their own requirements and these differ between banks and even between branches. We assist with opening a Thai bank account and can tell you what a particular bank will want to see before you go in.
